Pensively gazing out our front window, my little Nah-Nah-Girl thought aloud, "A lie is something you really mean but you don't really mean it."
Now that's deep! Profound philosopher.

That same sweet girl read a verse that happens to be hanging on our back doorknob, "Let your 'yes' be yes, and your 'no' be no." She paused, reflecting, then declared, "Sometimes I just have to do eenie meenie miney mo."
Good point, my dear!

For me, winter equals indoor exercise. So I exercise while my three kids and a dog watch me and lick me (the dog does the licking part). My three-year old son, Pumpkin Pie, is so compassionate. I am moaning and groaning. He comes to check on me, "You okay, Mom?" Hardly able to reply, I manage a nod. "You going to break your body?" I nod again. "You want to be strong and mighty?" "Oh yeah!"
I love the mighty part!

The kids were watching a documentary on how extreme sport "toys" are made and the camera highlighted EXTREME wipe outs on a surfboard. The kids' eyes were wide! My big boy, Buddy, said, "That's dangerous! I never want to do that!" Pumpkin Pie piped up, "I only want to ride with Jesus!" Nah-Nah-Girl agreed, "I only want to ride with Jesus, too."
Now that's music to my ears!
