Princess is the perfect combination of Dora the Explorer, Alice from Wonderland, Lilo from Lilo and Stitch, and any other little girl who likes to play so hard she doesn't notice the grass stains on her new sundress and ignores pain when she gets a scraps on her bare knees from climbing rocks. She's the Princess who never keeps her shoes on and as soon as she does get new shoes she jumps in the nearest water puddle. She's the girl who longs for warm weather just so she can put on shorts and a T-shirt and sink her toes into the soft, cool grass. She loves girly but has a keen sense of adventure with not a care in the world. I LOVE THIS GIRL!

Today is a beautiful day; an unusual winter day. We even had a picnic outdoors! Also, we went to the park and played at the creek. Princess found a lovely geode that sparkles more than any we have EVER discovered. I told her she could bring it home and scrub it with an old toothbrush to make is shine even more. She thought that was a great idea! The problem was that she missed the whole part I said about it needing to be an OLD toothbrush. I walked into the bathroom where she was scrubbing her gorgeous treasure and realized that she was using her toothbrush that she JUST got a few days ago! I could hardly push down the laugh caught in my throat. If anyone would have missed the important information about using an OLD toothbrush, it would be my darling Spring chicka!

At this very moment, she is upstairs playing with her beautiful sparkly jewel contentedly adorned with scrapes, dirt, and a pink princess short-sleeved shirt . What a gem of a daughter!
