A moment through the eyes of a six-year old boy at our home:
Mom said when I feel mad or super excited or frustrated and then I don't use words to talk about my feelings, then my feelings get stuck inside my body and it might make me feel bad. I never really thought about it, but she had a good point. She said she even has a hard time using words to say how she feels. When she was a little girl she used a special trick to help her--her pillow. I laughed so hard! Mom showed me how to scream in a pillow and then she started pounding the pillow. After she left the room, I tried wrestling with the great, big grand-daddy pillow in our living room. I almost ripped it to pieces; it was so cool! I love to play and be silly and have fun, so I think this pillow thing works for me!
